SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY
Elevating Voices: Technology, Dysphagia Expertise, and a Passion for Communication
AAC devices, dysphagia therapy, and personalized assistive technology for all ages. Delivered by an ASHA-certified specialist with 20-plus years of clinical experience.
WHAT WE DO
Three areas of practice. One committed specialist.
When words don't come easily, the right device changes everything.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) opens doors that feel permanently shut. Whether your child is newly diagnosed or you're revisiting a device that stopped working, we start from where you are and build from there. From trial and evaluation to long-term training and family coaching, the support doesn't stop at the prescription.
Safe swallowing is not a small thing. It's everything.
Dysphagia affects how people eat, drink, and stay nourished. It can follow a stroke, a neurological diagnosis, or aging. The assessment process is thorough, and the treatment plan is specific to your anatomy and your life. If you need a referral to another specialist, we'll help navigate that too.
Geography shouldn't determine who gets good care.
Teletherapy sessions run on secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. Patients across the country access AAC evaluation, dysphagia follow-up, and device consultation without leaving their homes. Evening and Saturday slots are available for families who work during the day.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Two decades of practice. One unwavering focus.
Valcuse Delma started her clinical training at New York University in 2004 and has spent the years since working with patients who couldn't be helped by a one-size approach. Her background covers adult neurosciences rehabilitation, pediatric AAC, and dysphagia management across care settings from acute hospital to private practice. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA alongside a Master of Business Administration, which shapes how she thinks about access, funding, and what happens when families hit insurance walls.
